No matter which side of the globe Jez is on, you can be sure of one thing – he’s probably doing something related to real estate.
That’s what happens when you have a lifelong passion for people, cities, architecture and land use. Jez received his B.S from the University of Southern California specializing in Real Estate Development, and a Master’s Degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn).
His research at UPenn's Wharton School included housing finance policies and housing industry data collection from over 80 emerging economies for Wharton's Housing Finance Information Network.
Jez worked for Southern California's top brokerage houses including Keller Williams Beverly Hills and Re/Max North Orange County before serving as the national council coordinator for Urban Land Institute Philippines. He’s also worked on special real estate projects with the Rufino Group of Companies.
Currently, he consults for the World Bank and Asian Development Bank on housing and urban transport projects. Oh, and yes – he is a licensed real estate broker. If you think real estate is the only thing Jez spends time on, think again. He also happens to manage the Philippine Ski and Snowboard Federation, while supporting his family's construction firm, plus their ministry with Ebenezer Bible College and Seminary in Zamboanga City.
Ultimately, Jez is passionate about making a difference in the real estate and land use industry, helping people and empowering communities. With the latest developments in technology, he hopes to take Swoop's platform from Manila to the rest of the Philippines, and to other emerging markets.
